MURPHY GOODE WINERY 2013 MURPHY GOODE THE FUME
"Crisp citrus aromas and fresh lemon and grapefruit flavors define this medium-bodied, appetizing and unapologetic wine. With lots of personality, a tingly texture and tangy finish, itís just the thing for appetizers and first courses." Wine Enthusiast 91 points

|Bright citrus and lush tropical fruit aromas. Flavors of white peach and honeydew. Whatís not to love about this versatile Sauvignon Blanc, with its hint of Semillon for floral notes and its touch of oak for that smoky, intriguing “fumeĒ personality. From poolside aperitifs to your best friendís wedding, from barbecued oysters on the beach to the BYOB Thai place around the corner, this go-to wine from Californiaís North Coast rises to every single occasion. Donít leave homeóor stay homeówithout it.
|Back in 1985, around a friendly game of Liarís Dice, Tim Murphy, Dale Goode and Dave Ready decided to make their love of fine wines official. They began creating Fume Blanc and Chardonnay from Murphy Ranch and Murphy-Goode Vineyard in Sonoma County. Fast forward 20 vintages and today Murphy-Goode, has added more wines to the line-up, including world-class Bordeaux varieties from Alexander Valley. Today, David Ready, Jr., is the winemaker, and the winery remains family owned. Wines, family, friends, fun. It’s been a Goode ride.
