"(45% carignan, 30% cabernet sauvignon and 25% merlot) Opaque ruby. Aromas of black raspberry, smoke and cola, with a peppery overtone. Densely packed but penetrating, with firm minerality and acidity currently keeping the wine's dark berry fruit on a leash. Not yet pliant or expressive but finishes with expansive perfume and very good persistence. This needs decanting or a couple years of bottle age." Steve Tanzer 90 points
