Steve Tanzer 92 points - A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Malbec and Merlot, the 2010 Amy’s has a deep garnet-purple color and aromas of warm cassis, blackberry compote, crushed blueberries and dried mint with hints of dark chocolate and dried plums. The medium-bodied palate fills the mouth with expressive blackberry and mint flavors with a solid structure of refreshing acid and medium level grainy tannins, finishing long. Delicious now, it should cellar to 2017+.

|Planted in 1969 Moss Wood is an important, founding estate of the Margaret River wine region, located in the northern sub-region of Wilyabrup, Western Australia. Chief winemaker & viticulturalist Keith Mugford has been making wine & tending the vineyard at Moss Wood since 1979. In 1984 he was joined by his wife Clare. Their exacting viticulture ensures the production of grapes of excellent quality & they have created a stable of fine wines distinguished by their consistency over each vintage & their ability to age superbly.
