Wine Spectator 95 points - A rich and delicious Champagne, with beautiful balance and a fine-grained texture on the palate supporting grilled almond and iodine overtones. Latent layers of mushroom, smoke, candied citrus peel and brioche flavors add complexity, while fresh, salty acidity enlivens the wine, leading to a mouthwatering finish. Drink now through 2020. 50 cases imported.-AN

Vinous 89 points - Rather gamey, Chassagne-Montrachet-like aromas of truffle, mint, smoke and citrus fruits. Big, rich and ripe; quite full for the vintage. Pear skin and citrus oil notes along with a slightly roasted nutty quality. Finishes fairly long, with a hint of unabsorbed acidity.
