Wine Advocate 91 points - The 2006 Lagrein Lindenburg emerges with a deep, baritone register of dark wild cherries, earthiness, herbs, spices and minerals in a seemingly weightless, elegant and totally polished expression of Lagrein. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2016.
Wine Spectator 91 points - A smoky red, with hints of tar and mineral running through the flavors of sun-dried cherry, black currant, anise and fresh earth, with just a touch of ground espresso. Refined overall, but with firm tannins for support. Drink now through 2016. 1,110 cases made. AN
