Wine Enthusiast 89 points - The most forward and drinkable of Foxen’s many new 2011 Pinot Noirs. It’s soft and juicy with raspberries and cherry flavors, plus subtleties of cola, sauteed wild mushrooms and sweet, toasty sandalwood. A pretty wine that’s perfect with lamb. (Nov 2013)
John Sebastiano Vineyard is a new hillside planting (2007) of Pinot Noir on the Eastern edge of the Santa Rita Hills appellation. The vineyard takes its name from the two owners, John and Sebastiano. Foxen has a monopoly
on three blocks; 2.3 acres of clone 2A, 2.7 acres of Dijon 667, and 3.5 acres of Dijon 115. 2010 was our first harvest.
