Wine Spectator 88 points - Opulent and on the oaky side, showing Burgundy-like peach and apple flavors, accented by baking spice details. Just a bit heavy in the balance. Drink now through 2018. 310 cases made.-BS

Wine Advocate 93 points - The 2010 Chardonnay is fermented in egg-shaped concrete tanks and 30% of the wine sees new French oak. There’s a toasted note of baked bread or almond that sets off the complex bouquet. Aromas later open to peach, apricot, exotic fruit, honeysuckle, vanilla and spice. This is a sophisticated and impeccable wine with the pedigree of an important, oak-aged Chardonnay from the New World. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2020.
OTH 91 points - A dense, fruity white with toasted oak, pie and caramel. Full-bodied and rich with yogurt and lemon-meringue character. Wood still shows a lot. Drink now.
