Wine Advocate 89 points - The 2012 Chablis Grand Cru Bougros comes from six hectares traversing the southwest exposed plateau and the slope with high limestone content. It has a precise bouquet with touches of yellow flowers infusing the citrus fruit - a real jack-in-the-box set of aromas. The palate is well-balanced with very good intensity, a slight marine influence coming through on the back palate, but I would have preferred a little more matiere on the finish. Drink 2016-2026.  (Aug 2014)

Wine Advocate 92 points - Those especially partial to bivalvular delicacies should lay in extra bottles. Some six months ahead of bottling, Fevres 2012 Chablis Bougros nose suggests a greenhouse array of floral and leafy things, accompanied by green tea; then comes to the palate with the generosity that Seguier takes to be typical for these (by local standards) relatively deep, generous soils (the thin, steep Cote de Bouguerots being treated as at most Chablis estates now as a separate cru with its own bottling), offering succulent grapefruit, pineapple and white peach backed by textural richness. This isnt meant to suggest that there is a dearth of elements here that one could call “mineral: on the contrary, chalky, alkaline, and fusil as well as iodine notes abound, and help memorably extend the wines finish. Seguier claims that this site has responded to its biodynamic conversion by displaying more such nuances than before. The present exemplar certainly displays a fine sense of finishing clarity and focus as well as fidelity to the first duty of white wine, refreshment. Look for superb showings through at least 2022.”,,,  (Aug 2013)

Wine Spectator 93 points - Lean and bracing, offering lemon, apple, honey and flint flavors matched to a vivid structure. Incisive and intense, leaving a chalklike feel on the palate. Best from 2016 through 2028.óB.S. (Jun 11 2014)
