Color - Beautiful golden color
Bouquet - An intense floral and fruity nose with notes of iris, candied fruit and fresh hazelnuts
Taste - Full-bodied with rich, concentrated flavors of quince, vanilla and a slight lemon zest.
Well-balanced with a lingering finish.
Wine Spectator 91 points - Mirabelle plum, pear and mango notes are mixed here, with ginger and verbena accents lining the lightly toasted, brioche-framed finish. Flattering, but has good freshness. Roussanne and Marsanne. Drink now through 2015. 500 cases made.-JM

Vinous 90 points - (70% roussanne and 30% marsanne): Vivid yellow. Ripe peach and pear skin on the nose, with complicating notes of honey, dusty minerals and white flowers. Supple, fleshy and expansive, offering juicy orchard fruit flavors and a bitter touch of citrus zest. Nicely combines richness and energy and closes with very good clarity and mineral-driven persistence. There’s something Loire-like going on here.
