This offers a lovely expression of strawberry, cherry and licorice aromas and flavors, with a hint of tar. Elegant and supple, featuring a light grain to the well-integrated tannins and fine length. Best from 2021 through 2036.

The 2015 Barbaresco Manzola is beautifully lifted and gracious in the glass. Rose petal, sweet red cherry, mint, wild flowers and cinnamon are nicely woven together in this very pretty and expressive Barbaresco. As was the case last year, my impression is that the heat of 2015 helped produce a flashy, racy Barbaresco with relatively soft contours that will drink well with minimal cellaring. T he 2015 is such an attractive wine.
