"(destemmed by hand): Good medium red. Alluring high-pitched perfume of pomegranate, flowers and red licorice. A superbly sappy wine with penetrating savory minerality and an impression of weightlessness. Outstanding definition and energy here. The wine's ineffable, slowly mounting finish piques the salivary glands and perfumes the mouth. A great wine in the making, and a real essence of Clos Saint-Denis; it's hard to scrape this off the palate.
