CHANDON BRUT ROSE
"The NV Brut Rosé Cuvée is a blend of 60% Chardonnay, 38% Pinot Noir, and 2% Malbec that spent up to 16 months on its fine lees. A pale onion-skin pink in the glass. The nose presents cherry, sweetbrier, and dried flowers against a pastry-like backdrop. The palate is dry and refreshing with a firm, mousse-like texture and concentrated mouthfeel. A sparkling wine with a deliciously fruit-forward profile." Joaquín Hidalgo Vinous Media 91 points Drink 2023+

(roughly 45% pinot noir, 35% pinot meunier and 20% chardonnay): Bright orange-pink. Spicy cherry, red berries, blood orange and five-spice powder on the perfumed nose. Fleshy but dry, boasting excellent energy to its bitter cherry, redcurrant and floral pastille flavors. Finishes smooth and fleshy, with very good breadth and cling. The turnaround over the last few years at this house, now under the guidance of chef de cave Benoit Gouez, has been remarkable.

A vivid pink color and ample fruit aromas are followed by fairly ripe, full cherry and strawberry flavors that hint at sweetness. The texture is soft and generously bubbly.
