"From a site high on Mount Veeder, there are 200 cases of GRO's 2021 Chardonnay Haspel Vineyard. Barrel fermented but with the malolactic fermentation blocked, the aromas are marked by scents of struck flint, crushed stone, toasted hazelnuts, white peaches and ripe pineapple. Medium to full-bodied in the mouth, it's lush and opulent yet not over the top, with enough acidity to hold it together and make it finish clean and long."
