The Gianfranco Alessandria 2023 Barbera d'Alba opens to medium-dark concentration with a purplish color. The dark fruit flavors show medium intensity in this vintage and perhaps simpler lines altogether. This is aged in stainless steel only. The 2023 vintage lacks some of the bold focus that you get in other years. This is a 16,000-bottle release.
