Ripe and inviting, this has aromas of cloves, walnuts, tobacco, mocha and spiced cherries. It's full-bodied with well-integrated and ripe tannins. Lovely creamy character. Drink or hold.

The 2020 Barolo Gramolere is a delicate, ethereal wine. Dried red cherry, mint, spice, tobacco and crushed flowers are beautifully lifted throughout. Time in the glass brings out hints of orange peel, cinnamon, pine and anise. The 2020 is attractive, but it is also a touch faded-I would prefer to drink this sooner rather than later.
