The Montecucco Sangiovese is 100% Sangiovese. It is persistent and refined in the nose with plenty of little red fruits. This wine is well balanced and full-bodied. "The cherry, licorice and spice flavors are displayed against a backdrop of sweet ripe fruit and edgy tannins. Plays out with a tobacco aftertaste. A tad dry, but has character.
