A RUN FOR THE ROSES
PART 2

It's that time of year again. May is here, the running of the Derby, the flowers are blooming, and our Roses' are arriving...Plus we added two outstanding Rose Sparklers for Mother's Day.
These wines have a natural affinity for the foods of Spring and Summer. They work well with many dishes that are murder on red wines, or foods that are too hearty for most white wines. They are a marvelous accompaniment for grilled and spicy foods, as they tone down the heat and the spice brings out the character of the wine.

The supporting effervescence is soft yet voluminous and contributes to the round and seductive mouth feel of the refreshing and utterly delicious flavors. This is really very fine, indeed it possesses the most refinement of any wine in the range. In sum, this is a really lovely rosÚ and worth a look." Allen Meadows' Burghound.com 92 points

2015 Chateau d'Esclains
Whispering Angel Rose Cote du Provence

"A fresh and clean rosÚ with lots of fruit and structure compared to the 2013. It has more volume and roundness. This has more depth too. Patrick Leon says it may seem to have less acidity but it has more wine. It's more flavorful. The blend is the same as always - grenache, cinsault, tibauren and rolle." James Suckling 92 points
