The 2018 Chablis Beauroy 1er Cru comes from 0.4ha of 30-year-old vines and sees 12 months in stainless steel. This is one cuvée that feels a little overripe on the nose and lacks the definition of other Premier Crus. The palate is more balanced than expected, although I find it is missing definition and mineralité on the finish. Drink over the next 4-5 years.
