Light, bright yellow. Aromas of fresh pear, nectarine and Meyer lemon pick up hints of toasty lees and tarragon with air. Juicy and seamless on the palate, offering pliant orchard and pit fruit flavors that are sharpened by an undercurrent of bitter citrus zest. Finishes sappy, focused and quite long, with a lingering suggestion of succulent herbs.

The 2018 Chardonnay is also terrific. Coming from the Santa Lucia Highlands, it offers a classy, medium-bodied, nicely balanced style as well as good richness, integrated acidity, and textbook Chardonnay notes of orchard and peach fruits. It's another winner.
