Domaines Ott Chateau Romassan Bandol Rosé 2020
|Region||France, Provence, Bandol|
"The pale, peachy-colored 2020 Bandol Rose Chateau Romassan is mainly Mourvèdre, with smaller proportions of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah. Scents of crushed stone accent notes of peach, strawberry and lime on the nose, while the medium-bodied palate is silky in texture, streamlined in shape and extremely long on the finish. It can be drunk now or over the next few years." Joe Czerwinski Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 93 points Drink 2022+
The 2018 Bandol Rose Chateau Romassan is a blend of 52% Mourvèdre, 26% Cinsault and 22% Grenache. It's on the pale end of the B Bandol rosé spectrum, with scents of pineapple, peach and lime. Light to medium-bodied, it's silky in texture, elegant, with fine length. Tasted twice (once blind), with consistent notes.
