Medium ruby, the 2019 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley opens with savory scents of cranberry sauce, rhubarb, cherries and violet perfume with earthy and meaty touches. The medium-bodied palate is lushly fruited with a grainy texture, juicy freshness and long, spicy finish. 5,200 cases produced.

Leading off a slew of Pinot Noirs, the 2019 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley reveals a healthy ruby color as well as terrific raspberry and cherry fruits, medium-bodied richness, a supple, elegant mouthfeel, present yet light tannins, and a good finish. It's charming, and while it drops off slightly on the finish, it's balanced and satisfying. It should have 7-8 years of longevity.

Cherry paste and dried raspberry flavors are backed by fresh acidity. Minerally in the midpalate, with rich cooking spice accents on the finish along with hints of white pepper. Drink now through 2023. 5,200 cases made.
