2019 SOTER PINOT NOIR ESTATES
"A wine with dimension and grace, this Pinot has tiers of raspberry, mineral and dusky spice that build expression and tension toward refined tannins. Drink now through 2030. 1,870 cases made." Tim Fish Wine Spectator 94 points #33 in Wine Spectator Top 100 Drink 2022-30

The 2019 Estates Pinot Noir is brooding with aromas of cedar, fresh leather, and cherry liqueur. The palate offers a silky texture with fine tannins, dark black raspberry fruit, scorched earth, and pine. Drink 2023-2033.

This wine shows some reduction out of the gate. Beyond that are brooding aromas of toast, plum and moist earth, with fruit and barrel intertwining. The palate is as tight as a drum, with lithe fruit flavors backed by sandy tannins. There's plenty of acidity brightening it all. All of parts don't fit together at present, but the pieces are all there with a lot of upside. Best after 2026.
