"The 2020 Chardonnay Oakville is creamy, supple and beautifully layered. Winemaker Sean Capiaux has found a gorgeous stylistic middle ground that melds together texture with freshness. Stirring the lees adds body, while blocking the malolactic fermentation keeps the flavors bright. Lemon confit, baked apple tart, light tropical notes and a kick of French oak linger.
