"The 2017 Barbaresco Serragrilli is gorgeous, and also very clearly one of the finest wines I have ever tasted from Marchesi di Barolo. Ripe, pliant and beautifully layered in the glass, the 2017 offers tremendous appeal in its sumptuous, racy red berry fruit, spice and mocha flavors. Plush and inviting, with no hard edges, the 2017 is incredibly appealing. Hopefully the 2017 Serragrilli points to a more refined style at Marchesi.
